“Space of Change” is an attempt to find young people who are changing the country right now. These are the people who are independently developing and implementing projects for the benefit of their communities.“Space of Change” is a support and assistance program for such people, providing training opportunities and thus opportunities for the development of their projects.
The web-portal “Space of Change” gives the opportunity to share experience, as the winners’ ideas are open to the public and their success can be replicated in different regions of the country.
OPPORTUNITIES OPENED UP FOR PROGRAM WINNERS BY THE FOUNDATION:
1 Grants
The Program provides the opportunity for the winners to receive maximum flexible grants (up to 25,000 UAH) for the development of their own projects – either by staff personal training, covering necessary expenses, or conducting research. The main requirement for obtaining such financing is efficiency in utilizing the funds for the development of the project for which the participant was short-listed as a winner in the “Space of Change” program. Priority will be given to applications which involve participant cooperation.
2 Trainings and Internships
Special trainings are organized by the Foundation for the Program participants. The Foundation will not provide winners with “ready” solutions, but will develop special training programs based on the analysis of participants’ needs in cooperation with prominent experts, trainers, and educational institutions
3 Educational Programs Abroad
4 Project Presentations to the Public
The Supervisory Board will select Program winners based on their projects, which should contain innovative decisions and a bright vision for solving a social problem. On the basis of the most successful projects, the winners will, with experts’ assistance, develop recommendations for the Parliament, the Cabinet of Ministers and local governments which would promote changes in state policy for the benefit of the community.
