Valeriy Borovyk

Head of the Board of Directors of the Alliance “New Energy of Ukraine”.
The Alliance was created as a voluntary public initiative for working on qualitatively new energy efficiency and energy saving policies, considering Ukraine’s integration into the world community and growing deficit of fuel and energy resources.

Yaroslav Grytsak

Doctor of Historical Sciences, Associate Professor of Ivan Franko Lviv National University.
Director of the Institute of Historical Research of Ivan Franko Lviv National University, visiting-professor of the Central-Eastern Institute in Budapest, Senator and Head of the Department of History of Ukraine at Ukrainian Catholic University (Lviv), First Vice-President of the International Association of Ukrainian Studies Specialists. Co-editor of the scientific annual edition “Ukraine Modern”.

Yevgen Zakharov

Head of the Board of Directors of Ukrainian Helsinki Human Rights Union, Co-chairman of Kharkiv Human Rights Protection Group.
Participant of dissident movement of the 1970s and 1980s.

Larysa Ivshyna

Editor-in-Chief of the newspaper "Day", Honorary journalist of Ukraine.

Oles’ Sanin

Film director, actor, operator, producer, musician, and sculptor.
Producer of several dozens of documentaries (production of Internews Network, Сanal +, Channel 1+1, NТV, ТNТ, POLSAT, DALAS studio, IKON, PRO Helvecia, etc.). Director of photography of several documentaries.
Director of a number of documentaries and live-action short films.
Prize-winner of the Oleksandr Dovzhenko Ukrainian State Award for the film “Mamai” (2003), “Silver Medal” of Academy of Arts of Ukraine and the Lumiere Brothers Silver Medal.

Nataliya Yaresko

One of the Co-founders and Co-managing Partner of the Horizon Capital company. Presently Horizon Capital manages two funds: Emerging Europe Growth Fund, LP (EEGF) and Western NIS Enterprise Fund (WNISEF) with aggregate capital exceeding $280 million. Due to her valuable experience in private and public sectors Horizon Capital works successfully in complicated business conditions, also paying much attention to forming profitable market leaders in different branches of industry.

Prior to joining WNISEF, Mrs. Yaresko worked at the U.S. Department of State. In 1992-1995 she headed the Economic Department of the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine. Before that Mrs. Yaresko held a number of offices in the economic division of the U.S. Department of State in Washington, D.C.

Arseniy Yatsenyuk

Member of the Parliament (Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine), Speaker of the Ukrainian Parliament of the sixth convocation (2007-2008).
Prior to that he held positions of the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Deputy Head of the Secretariat of the President of Ukraine, Minister of Economy of Ukraine and others.
He obtained Ph.D. in Economics at Kyiv National University of Trade and Economics. In July 2007, Mr. Yatsenyuk founded International Charitable Organization “Open Ukraine Foundation”.
